CHILD PROTECTION POLICY STATEMENT

Marton Cricket Club, wish to see that children, irrespective of their gender, race, age or ability gain as much enjoyment from playing the game of cricket as is possible.

Here at Marton, we are committed to making this possible and ensuring that we provide a safe, friendly and enjoyable experience for all young people who play cricket. 

We are committed to developing and implementing policies and procedures which underpin this commitment and contribute to our ‘duty of care’.

Subsequently Marton Cricket Club have adopted the England and Wales Cricket Board Ltd. (ECB) ‘Safe Hands’ Welfare of Young People Policy which is available from the Club (Cricket Section) & Child Welfare Officer,  an ECB Safeguarding and a Club’s Duty of Care policy can be downloaded via the links below:

POLICY AIMS 
The aim of the Marton Cricket Club Child Protection Policy is to promote good practice. Provide young people with appropriate safety and protection whilst in the care of Marton Cricket Club. Allow people to make informed and confident responses to specific child protection issues.
